Thoughts at different levels!
Some thoughts penned down..
How does one get one’s mind to be calm ?
Is it meditation ? or is it the thought of not having any thoughts .. hee hee.. It’s been quite some time since I have been pleading to get my self in this particular state. I am very much positive that most of you will want this kind of mindless state 24×7.
The tensions that have been exponentially increasing in one’s life is tremendous. Adding each individual’s tension together combined with that of the world is just unimaginable. Be it huge, be it tiny; it just creates a state of unrest that one wants to let go and make a beeline to the shore. But is it easy? What may seem simple to you may be a Herculean task for another.
With so many tensions and loads of new thoughts every nano second, how does one survive in this breathtaking world? A sense of mental satisfaction is what one craves for and the relief that one gets after this is ecstasy!
Take a while and I suggest think you over the points that would let you ‘break free’ !
Truly speaking, this would never end. So take a short nap, relax, chill out and enjoy !
Cheers!

Is “the world really flat” ?

Is the world flat? (Courtesy: Google Images)
I think there must be mind boggling concepts explained by Thomas L. Friedman in his book “The world is Flat”. I have not yet read his book yet, but I happened to see a video of him explaining the fundamentals of the book to some students.
The theories proposed by him are so simple and apt.
He starts by giving his study on call centres where people in Philippines, India, China were imitating the Americans. And why? Due to outsourcing. A very good beginning baseline to the concrete tower that he builds later on.
He says that he happened to visit Bangalore, the silicon capital of India to interview the other side of outsourcing that was done by the Americans. On his Conversation with Nandan Nilekani, the former CEO of Infosys, he came across this great concept which persuaded him to write this book. And the concept was “The global economic plain field is being levelled.” (Indians provoking thought.. Woohoo..!!)
He then discusses about his tour where he meets Japanese speaking Chinese and also his exploration on the work from home concept by Jet Blue air ticketing reservation system and drive-in concept of McDonald.
He then comes out with a brilliant idea, the software technological way by the use of versions.
- Globalization 1.0 : where one went global through one’s country,
- Globalization 2.0 : where multinational companies were the drive through forces behind globalization,
- Globalization 3.0 : the current version, which is the ability of individuals and small groups to globalize.
His explanation suggests that the world has reduced from a very large scale 1.0 to a very Tiny scale 3.0 of globalization without even realizing it. He says that the present and the future seen is that “individuals of every colour of rainbow who will be able to plug and play” – I loved this, a very harsh truth and fact framed in very subtle and simple words.
Further on he explains the 10 so called flatteners that make the world flat. Each and every flatener plays a vital role. This shall be reviewed in my next post.
Thanks.

Life.. Is it going on ?
Today, I question the basic existence of my blog. My basic tag line is being questioned by both my conscious or my unconscious mind.
Life during the month of October has been very topsy turvy. Blended with both laughter and cries, this month is a mixed feeling month. But I am still perplexed and wait for the right answer of Life. Who does not wait for it..!!
Everyone wants to know what lies ahead.. I want to know it too. It gives me a very mixed feeling. I’m so called very confused at this moment. I do not realize right now, what expression should I bore. It’s very difficult for me right now to convince myself .
This inter-cultural environment, this existence of life, this way of living, the work, the no work, the study, the walk, the ride, the eating, the drinking, the sleeping, the talking, the messing up things, the happiness, the joy, the loneliness, the friends.. and the list goes on and on.
Each individual, each living being, each non living being here are much individualistic. Do we really need to be that way.. can we change.. Am I turning into them.. OMG.. what’s getting wrong with me..
I need a change. I need a change right now.. but I do not want things to change. I want it the way it was before, but I know it won’t . Time moves on.. It’s so damn difficult.
How was October for you.. “Does life go on for you ?”
Ranjani ishytle Fried Rice..!!
“First put oil in the rice cooker.. i added a little ghee also yesterday.. then ginger garlic paste.. when the smell reduced added onions and green chilli. Then when onions where nearly fried i added carrot and beans mixed for some time then added salt, garam masala…( no need chili powder as i put enuf green chillis to make it spicy )put some water … Then when water is gonna boil put rice and enuf water for rice…(total rice is to water ratio should not exceed 1 :2.5 else it’d not be crispy…) keep open till water boils and close rice cooker once water starts to boil…If you wanna add paneer, fry them seperately and add it some 5 mins before the rice is completely cooked ..”
